 Registration

 The Registration fees for the different categories of participants are as follows:

The Conference fees cover the Conference proceedings, the Award/Gala Night and all evening events. Participation badges will be issued to participants on full payment of registration fees and should be worn at all times. Security agents may prevent participants who fail to wear badges, from gaining access to any of the conference activities.

 Technical Sessions

The theme of the conference is “THE EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES AND ECONOMIC RE-ENGINEERING”. The theme underscores the strategic role minerals, energy and water play in the area of social, economic and infrastructural development of the nation.

The abstract containing a maximum of 250 words should concisely state the objective (s), methodology, significant results and conclusion. The closing date for the submission of abstracts is 30th December, 2007.

N.B: Oral presentation are expected to be in MS Power point and presenters are expected to arrange their points appropriately in diskettes or CDs.

Abstracts reviewed and accepted will be published in the book of abstracts for the conference.

The authors of successful abstracts will be required to send copies of their papers via email to the secretary.
